The great thing of not doing this for a living and carrying the tiny camera with you at all times is that you focus on the little things that you find every day that call your attention, recreating your own little private universe…Back to horizontality!!

  1. Unrestricted creativity. Both photographs are fantastic Erik!

  2. Thanks Wouter, it´s all about fun, isn´t it..??

  3. Thanks for an informative post! While the technical reviews of sites like dpreview are helpful tools, they really miss providing some useful, objective opinion. I like the light you present this little camera in, showcasing what it is and not getting too caught up in what it isn’t. Your interesting photography makes the point even better. -BC

  4. Thanks and I´m glad that my writting can be of any help. As yourelf, I generally find the majority of the reviews too caught up in pixel-peeping stuff and not in real life shooting facts. There was a time when I turned my nose away from compact cameras (and anything that wasn´t an end of the line Canon DSLR really). Fortunately I managed to widen my horizon and it has been liberating and great, great stuff. I much, much prefer a technically weak image that moves or has a meaning than an impecable but boring one, and that is what small digicams are great for, everyday stuff..

    Best, Erik.
